I was 24 when this blackout was going down. I don't remember hearing about it. I don't really remember much from back then at all actually.

Anything before 2005 was all ass, alcohol and work. World events didn't matter much to me.

I was 2 weeks away from starting my first job out of college, we ended up grilling everything in the freezer & eating a ton of ice cream
