I don't necessarily love my job, but it pays really well, I pretty much can't get fired (i work for my step father) and I get to be on the forum quite a bit. My wife doesn't get why I'd work a job I don't love, but at least i'm using my education (i hve a bachelor of commerce degree and do accounting work). as a bonus i get to drive rental vehicles, so no insurance or fuel to pay.

I did that a lot when I was pregnant. I remember driving home with tears coming down my face.

I just hate the direction my career has turned to. I'm pretty much an IT whore now. One day could be designing new server systems and the next day could have me crawling through a crawl space running cable.

I feel for you. I saw a job for a software engineer. $40 to 50 and hour.....
