its on Nexus only for phones. Maybe in the next 6 months, others will get it.

Do you guys generally update your phone when a new version comes out?I usually do, but I know plenty of people who never update and they seem to be fine.

It has something to do with how every phone maker ads their own stuff to the stock Android.
Google will put out a new Android version, then it's up to the companies like HTC, Motorola and Samsung to release their version to their phones.
That's why the Nexus phones, that run pure Android, get their updates first.

I tend to update when my current phone is about to die. My Blackberry is looking pretty beat up, but still works good.
