Alot of farmers use the 4.9l as irrigation engines too. Amazing engines.

I think the old UPS trucks used them too.
My bro had one when he was 16. It was in a 78 F100 stepside that he wrecked. He put it in an 80 F100 that had a bad motor which was also wrecked. Anytime we got parts for it, we had to tell them that it's for a 76. So that motor outlived at least two trucks.
