I just got a bitching out via text message from a girl I went to school with.
The town wants the province to help pay to re pave the main road . The province won't cough up the cash if the town doesn't change angle parking to parallel.
I am all for the change. It will make more work for me when snow hits but we will finally get traffic lights which are much needed. A centre median so people don't just turn in front of you.
Sure you lose 45% of the parking spots but I just walking a block from the town parking lot to the building is too much of a hassle

If she has a fat ass you win the battle by telling her the walk wouldn't hurt.

She is. She owns the flower store in town. She complained because the town put a 1 hour parking limit on Park Ave (the Main Street) and she can't park her van right in front of the door. Apparently her parking her van there is advertising. Not like the people can't see the well lit purple sign you have above your door.

Tell her that she should park her van a mile away... more advertising and she gets some exercise.
