I looked around on the interweb too, they said it's a verry high gay population, real artsy, and there's alot of dope heads.

There were a few sections in Portland that I thought looked a little gay. Across the street from the bar we were at was a bath house. It was actually called a bath house. We were told that was the gay section.

Don't worry about the gay parts. There are enough strip clubs there to make you forget that stuff.

An artsy city usually means a clean city though. One of the things I noticed was that it was one of those cities were you could walk from block to block and it didn't immediately turn into a slum.
