Morning everyone!
Because it's the holiday season and shopping is in full effect I can come to work, but I can't touch anything. I guess I'll just shop.

When the dollar was at par in 2007/2008. People were going down there to get stuff we don't get up here and stores were really feeling it so they started doing it up here.
Yes people take the day off, I know at least 8-10 people who took the day off today.
I really don't understand people who feel the need to get up that early, to go fight those crowds, for deals that aren't all that great.
Maybe they used to be, or maybe each store has 5 "doorbusters" that are really good, but I just don't think they're worth it.
Outside of a soundbar for my parents' new tv, there were any electronics I was out to buy, so I slept in. I did fuck up on an online deal for that Elmo that's out for my kid. I could have gotten it much cheaper on Friday and forgot to order it.

My boss says he's not going to pay me for another week. I hate not having a regular pay schedule. I need all of these sales to be repeated next week.

I've wanted a new Yamaha receiver for the home theater for a year now, but it was $500. It dropped to $389 and I almost bought it. On Thanksgiving it went to $300 and I got it. They screwed up shipping and I didn't get it by Saturday so they took an additional $60 off.
