Any of you guys read Stephen King's "Cell"? Zombies with telepathic abilities along with mind control and telekinesis. I never even pondered that possibility and it's not good at all.

I am not a Stephen King fan. I reality, I really don't read much. Is that book what the movie with Jennifer Lopez is based off?
There is no way zombies as we know them would have mind control and telekinesis. that would have to be considered a totally different threat.

While this is certainly a different take on zombies I still think it qualifies.
