Big f550 in here to get washed yesterday. wash boy spent entire day on it, didn't even wash the service box. charged the guy 200 bucks to wash the cab of a truck.customer was pissed, boss was pissed, other boss was pissed, I sat here and watched all 3 of them yell at the wash kid, and make him pull it back in to finish it.

2-3 hours tops is all it should take to wash a dirty work rig anyway. This kid probaly won't be around much longer.

How often do people go to dealerships to have their vehicles washed?

frequently.

that is, if the dealer has detailing available

mostly its the gas/oil company trucks that want their trucks washed after we work on them. Which is pretty often. They are always real dirty too.

now that I think about it, there is always a customers car getting washed back there. old folks and fancy soccer moms. one of our detail kids is really good, takes q tips to the vent registers and little shit like that. the newer wash guy sucks.

at Ford they charged $200 and up for complete detailing. Its just another way to bring in money, and there is a market for it
