The Walking Dead - Pete Nice - 03-12-2012

This is the thread to discuss the Walking Dead without spoiling it for anyone by writing in the IST.

Re: The Walking Dead - Pete Nice - 03-12-2012

Shane:

Everyone knew he was going to try and kill Rick sooner or later.

Here are my questions:

1. Does Shane die in the comic?
2. How did he become a moving walker 30 seconds after he died?
3. How did he become a walker at all? He was never bitten.
4. What was up with those flashback things after Shane died?

Re: The Walking Dead - Brampton - 03-12-2012

Ok.

1. Shane should have been dead ages ago
2. Carl should have been the one to kill him
3. They finally introduced the key zombie rebirthing last night
4. entirely too much time has been spent at the farm

Re: The Walking Dead - Pete Nice - 03-12-2012

It looks like shit is gonna get real here next week. About 100 walkers seem to be descending on the farm.

Without giving away any spoilers from the comic books, who do you all think is gonna die during this invasion?

I am thinking:

1. Either Glen or his fuck buddy
2. Rick's wife
3. Hershel

1. Carl kills him
2. walker rebirth can happen almost immediately
3. its possibly an airborn virus now (same in comics)
4. that was the first occurence on the show of spontanious "reanimation"

None should. they survive the farm in the comic.

now with that being said, I believe its time for Carol, T-dog, and Herschels other daughters to go.

they all serve no purpose (carol especially cause they killed off her kid)

Re: The Walking Dead - Pete Nice - 03-12-2012

How do you think they are going to get out of this pending mess?

Will they just fight their way out?

Will the other group of people come rescue them?

Will the black guy and his son from season 1 show up and save the day?

Will they mount up and run?

That's what some people say the CDC Doctor whispered to Rick in the first season.

I asssume, if it is airborne, that a person still has to die, or get bitten, first to turn?

they are gonna lose a couple people, fight off as many as they can, and abandon the farm (remember glenn getting the RV functional)

I think T-Dog is not living up to expectations. He is a big dude, he should be more of a warrior type than he is. He kinds of lets Rick, Shane, Glen and Darryl do all the warrior stuff. T-dog should be a warrior before Glen.

you have to die to turn. Whether its getting stabbed (Shane) or broken neck (hostage kid) or bitten

Re: The Walking Dead - Pete Nice - 03-12-2012

I wonder if they will ever bring back the black guy and his son.

I think they should.

at this point, I'm hoping they haven't pissed away the "Bad ass" black dude character yet. I'm not talking TDoggy
