The companies hate it, but I don't see anything wrong with going to interviews as practice.
I probably would have gotten a better job a lot closer to home if it hadn't been my first interview in 10 years.

yeah I'm still going, they dont know I have something else lined up. I figured I'd go and see what they have to say. Who know maybe one of them will be flexible with hours and i can do a pt thing before fedex
i did the math the other night and i would make just as much working ft at fedex in 8/day as I would continuing to do what I do now, which is ft at the hospital for 8hr and pt at fedex for another 3-4.

My friend works at a steel mill, and he's telling me they're hiring.
I've actually thought about giving up my office job for it, after the initial period, It'd be a more money.
But I'd be working around 70 hours a week.
If he would have told me this a year ago, I'd have taken it, but it seems things are finally turning around here at work.

I'd make more, working significantly more hours.
I like working 40-50 hours of flex time.
If we're slow, I can work 4, 10 hour days and take Friday off.
I would have to work 60-80 hours of days/afternoons/midnights.
Sometimes he gets stuck working 7, 12 hour days.
I'd only take that job if I really needed something.
