I didn't care enough to read the whole story, but

Shakira was once booted out of her school choir for sounding like a goat.

Those kinds of funerals are always tough.

Jim's bud lost his baby brother in a car accident. He was 22yrs old and had 2 little kids. I didn't know the guy and I got all choked up at that funeral.

Ive never been to any funerals other than older people who died naturally.
Im still trying to wrap my head around suicide. I wouldn't ever want to put my family and friends through that.

I had this big speech all worked out to tell my boss when we went up to greet the family out at the cemetery. But the minute I looked at her I started crying, then she started crying and we just sat there crying and holding each other for a few minutes. I guess that's good enough.

That first clue is when he approaches you in a Walmart. The second clue he's not a podiatrist is the moment he starts sucking your toes.

NussieT Wrote:So my cousins funeral on Saturday was my first funeral since my grandpas almost 5 years ago.
I show up to the funeral wearing my winter parka, my works boots (I polished them up because I no longer own dress shoes), a black and light blue argyle sweater and black pants. I also wore a bright blue sweater.
My sister in law yelled at me and told me I was in appropriate. What the hell was wrong? A girl was wearing a neon pink hoodie, another was wearing a similar blue sweater and an aunt of mine was wearing a red and yellow flowered dress.

You, a girl, don't own dress shoes?

No. I have open toed heels, 4" heels and about 3 pairs of dressy sandals but no dress shoes or boots.
I have had no need to wear dress boots in years. At maxim and even now I am required to wear steel toed boots for my job.

I just ignored her and continued on what I was doing. I could have taken off my sweater. I didn't realize I should have gone shopping and bought a funeral coat, funeral shoes and a funeral sweater.

As a rule, you should have one outfit for such occasions, but whatever, if you looked decent, then she can just get over it.

I've dropped 5-6 clothing sizes in the last 2 years. All my old clothes are too big even stuff from last summer is too big.

dropping 5 to 6 sizes is the perfect excuse to buy a new wardrobe.
