I figured they would be fun to tinker with, as far as rooting and custom build some ROMS for them. and if I fry them, no big deal.
I bought my kids a Samsung Tab for Xmas. I hate the thing. I've never been more frustrated than trying to use it. My MIL says its because I have apple products and I am not used to the android but I played around on my brothers for hours one day when testing it out before we got new phones and never had issues like it.
