So I got a new wine cooler and it has a digital temp setting. What is the ideal temp for wine? I will only have a few whites in there and they will not last more than a few weeks at a time. It ranges from 46 f to 68 F.

I figure JDubb or Chello will know this for sure.
You can drink your wine coolers at whatever temp you want Pete. Big Grin
I have always read for proper wine storage to keep your wine at 55F. I am not so sure the actual temp matters as much as keeping it a consistent without huge swings in a "cool," dry place. You don't want to store wine in the sun and where the temp can get too warm or too cold as that will effect how the wine will age. Inexpensive wines don't generally change much.

In the US we tend to drink our whites too cold. Refrigerator temp is too cold. If you store your whites in the fridge take them out 30 minutes prior to serving to warm a bit. If the wine is too cold you will shut down the aromatics and your wine will not have the nose it should.
I believe the temp for wine coolers is flaming :fag:
