Nudity complaint near Maine topless doughnut shop

VASSALBORO, Maine – Prosecutors will review a complaint that a waitress from a Maine topless doughnut shop was outside the business without a shirt on.

The Central Maine Morning Sentinel says a state trooper was sent to the Grand View Topless Coffee shop on Saturday after someone called in a complaint. Police say no one was charged, but the matter has been turned over to the district attorney for review.

It's unclear whether nudity outside the cafe is prohibited.

Vassalboro had considered banning nudity altogether after the shop opened in February, but officials now are proposing to specifically regulate where, when and how such businesses may operate. The revised ordinance comes up for a vote June 8.

I am totally game to go visit most of the local topless bars in my area. But, I don't know about you all, I just cannot envision the allure of a topless donut shop. A kid I went to school with tried to open a topless coffee shop in town. The local churches bought him out and it never happened. All I could picture was hot coffee being spilled on titties... Owwwwwww!!

I'm sure its just me, but I wouldn't have ever eaten at a tittie bar, so why would I get coffee at a topless coffee shop.
Would that make my coffee $5. Like a $10 beer?

Here is what I think, topless donut shop = cool. Topless hippie chicks in Maine = not so cool.

I just think that it's dumb, it's like let's charge way too much for a donut, so guys can see a half-naked chick. What next? Half-naked diner at breakfast?

I think if you're selling food you should be bringing in customers by actually having good food.

The Penthouse Executive club in Manhattan has a 5 star steak house, called Roberts, on he second floor. It is part of the club. I actually like Ed. I have hung out with him a lot. I have never been out with Ed and not had a good time. I went to the Old Homestead and got the Gotham steak with Ed, Covino and Spot for the first time. I went to the Penthouse Ex Club with Ed for the first time. He also can get me in free to almost any strip club in NYC and NJ. I call him first, he calls the manager and I am in with anyone who wants to go with me.

You know what is funny, when I got engaged, the first people I told were Covino, Spot and Ed, when we were at diner at the Old Homestead. Not sure why, but that's how it worked out, they found out before my parents did.
