I haven't been able to get the new server to back up so I fought with it all day yesterday.  Eventually I wound up deleting a part of another server by mistake.  What I accidentally deleted was documents and pictures from the last 10 years.  I then spent the remainder of the day trying to get back that old data with no such luck.
I also didn't fix the backup problem....
So, you had a crappy day yesterday as well...
I stayed in my onesie all day watching tv. Then I got in a fight because our employees lost his cool and quit putting more work on me but I can't because the kids. So I said if you want me to do that, tell me now so I can get a daycare. He wants to hire a nanny. I finally lost it and said I'd rather go get a real job not dealing with employees anymore and that turned into a even bigger fight.

Seems like you always get the shittiest deal compared to your employees from him.

If you sell then doesn't that mean you'll both be out of jobs?
Yay! Finally got the backup working and then was able to implement an additional backup as a secondary.

He works full time nights (330-12am) at Peterbilt MB. He's been doing that since August. In the summer I run the concrete plant, the trucking company and the gravel pit.
If we sell its just the gravel operation. The concrete plant and trucking company are still ours. The last potential offer for the pit it was in the 7 digits.

Oh damn!  Did you pay 7 digits when you bought the pit?

So, what would you do if you guys did sell? Would the concrete biz still keep you busy enough?

No. We paid just under $800k for all our properties. The pit and the rental house is on 1. Our house which is on 3 acres is on another and our 77 acres of farm land is on another. If we sell, it would just be the pit property. The rest we will keep the rest.
So, you would get a pretty damn good return on your investment.  Good deal.
I am so over today. I need to tell my boss about this funeral (or funerals based on the latest news), but I don't want to talk about it. And I am not even sure when they will be.

My day was pretty good yesterday.
I went to the Auto Show, then saw the Flyers beat the Red Wings.
And had more than a few beers.  Bell's Two Hearted is the shit.
