I am going to make it a requirement for my next job that I get this time of year off. I could use the downtime. That and my boss won't stop talking about stupid stuff.

How was everyone's Christmas?

I'm sure T is still glowing from hers...
Christmas was good. I spent the 25th with Stacy's family and the 26th with mine. I can't wait to be able to move closer so that I don't spend 2 days on the road every year.
Joe's playing with forum settings again....
Christmas was different for us, most of my family moved to Florida in the past few years. This year we tried something different with the family that is still in NY, but I missed the big family get together.

Attempting to work from home today, but Citrix so slow on my computer. Wish there was a way to speed things up.

Long drives short relatively short visits suck.  Jim's family is pretty boring, so spending all day with them Christmas day wasn't very exciting at all. And they woke my kid up, so she was crabby and clingy most of the time.

We had dinner at 2p.  Bri is a nibbler lately, so she will eat a bit, then run around.  She got hungry again after 5 and I had nothing to give her but cookies because all of the food had vanished.  Told my mom that I will host Christmas day next year,  lots of work, but more fun that way.

Funny story: A week or two before I showed Jim the Charger online. The one I found was in Edmonton.
Christmas Eve morning we had just finished up hauling snow at 10am. We pulled Jims car out of the ditch then I went to bed.
I woke up at 4pm, my kid looks at me and says "mom guess what dad bought you a car it's in the shop". Then when I told Jim. Mike told him "I didn't tell her what colour it was".

It's a 2008 Dodge Charger Daytona RT. It's #20 out of 150. It's got heated seats, leather interior. Jim says it's goes fast, he had it up to 160kmh. I don't plan on going that fast.
