Good morning!

So something happened yesterday that was kind of weird...

On Monday night we met with a realtor and talked about the possibility of selling my house. When she left things were a little more positive towards being able to sell. After she left I started looking at homes in New Jersey around my parent’s area. Somehow I got sidetracked and started looking at houses along the Jersey Shore. The more I looked the more I thought about how great it would be to live there. The downside to living there would be the lack of IT jobs. The last thing I said to Stacy before shutting my laptop off that night was that it would be cool to get a job at a casino down there.

Yesterday on my way home I got a call from a place in Philly. They are a recruiter for Resorts Casino in Atlantic City and would like to submit me for a job there.
I think after years of licking every thing in the house her tongue stretched so much that it doesn't fit while she sleeps.

My dog has barked and bit his tongue so much that it's missing chunks.

Good luck, we have been House/condo searching for a few months now.
We just can't afford anything. So our search has been expanding from 20 minutes from my job to 45 minutes- 1 hour away in the sticks. Its crazy how the suburbs of NYC change the further North you go.

A lot of this area is starting to develop, because no one can afford to live near NYC. Taxes are approaching 20K a year in those area's Confusedhock:

The new pain I am finding, is most of the homes have septic tanks & drilled wells, and I have only heard of problems with them. I am use to municipal sewers & water, so we are getting picky.

In reality I need to find a better paying job. its just not easy.
Less than a week before I stop listening to C&R, new time slot sucks. I may catch the last hour live and a little more maybe Thursday & Friday.

Wow, the worst I’ve seen in NJ is an area my friend moved to. His neighbor was telling me they pay out about 17K a year for taxes. I think the regular areas around where my parents are come in between $6000 and $8000 a year which is still high. My current house, which is a pretty nice 3 bed, 3 bath only runs about $2700 a year. The down side is I have 45 minutes to an hour to work.

There’s a lot of places I’d like to move to, but I’d rather stay in something affordable than being “house poor.”

I've heard one show since they moved to CA. From what I've heard from the other guys listening the show has been pretty terrible.

I didn't think it would be that noticeable, but the show is definitely different in Cali

Staying away from "house poor" is the key thing for us, I would love 6K a year in taxes. 3 bed 3 bath with storage would be perfect for us. a decent place goes for $350K+ a year. Where we live now its 500K + :killme:

Holy shit! In Central PA you could be in a 3 bed, 3 bath with a 2 car garage a block from a lake for $195,000 and $2700 a year for taxes.
For $500K you could get a house in PA with your own private runway and a beater airplane.

Actually a block over from me the houses are on the water and they are 450 and up to 850.
This is kinda what I have my mind set on. The only thing missing from this one is the in ground pool. It's a decent neighborhood and it's 35 minutes form the beach and 30 minutes from Philly.

I think I was slightly off. It's actually 45 mins from the beach. It still beats the 3 hours I have now.
