There is one of those sitting outside my window.

You know that guy went home and cried just out of sheer appreciation for life.

That's probably what I would do.
Right after I changed my underwear.

same here. when we finally stopped, we all just looked at each other, all freaked out. Then through all our beer in the ditch and hauled ass out of there.

not sure why we through the beer out, seemed like the best thing to do at the time.

Beer is exactly what I would do after that.

we had all had enough at that point. :roflmao:

i remember going to a party from there though, and they had a keg. so we got more drunk, and told everyone our awesome flyin g car story.
I think I lost all my nerve driving an SUV that barely had windows in it. I'm not as ballsy now as I previously was in my other mustangs. Now I just hit the gas, throw myself back in the seat briefly and then I'm good for a little while until I need another fix.
Chip Wrote:One time in high school, on a snowy day, me and a friend went hooning around in my '86 Aerostar.
We were on this dirt road, covered in snow and I started swerving back and forth until I lost control. We didn't tip over, but it felt like we were going to.
But we slid off the road, and somehow managed to slide into the only driveway on the road. Otherwise we would have been in the ditch.

That was like every day in high school for me. We were playing follow the leader - car style. The car in front of us fishtailed the corner, lost control and rolled the car. I remember standing in the ditch digging the snow away from the windows and seeing one of them take off the seatbelt and land in a crumpled heap. They rolled the car back over and drove it back to town, his parents freaked out when he got home. I' m pretty sure Nick didn't have a car again until after he graduated.

I hit the governor in my car a few months ago.
Now I can say I did it, and I know that it's at 128.
I don't really have the desire to do it again.

Haha.
That's rad.

I'm still a maniac. Every time it snows, i go whipping around town like an idiot. doing donuts, and e-braking around the corner. Even did it in my wifes mini van the other day.

and I can't be on a dirt road, without sliding my car around.
my little ford escort is governed at 112. surprislgy its pretty easy to get it going that fast.

Theres a wire you can take out of the PCM that disables the limiter too. 125 after that, then it just didn't feel right to me. like at any moment it was just going to burst into flames, like the Challenger space shuttle.

I hit a 100 twice leaving my development in the last week, but that was only 3rd gear. My area is too full of deer to mess around too much.

I got my last Mustang up to 135 and then hit a tree branch hanging out in the road. I had my windows open so when the mirror ripped off it hit me in the chest. Scared the shit out of me.

Got my motorcycle to 178 once and into the 160s countless times. There's no surviving those crashes though.

My Hyundai Excel back int he day was like that. At high speed you always had the feeling that at any moment you could explode.

I had my Dakota up over 115 once.
I thought that might be enough for a rear wheel drive truck. I didn't go over 100 too much in that.
My Sebring, I don't even remember.
But in this car, a lot of times I'll just look down and notice I'm up over 90, then it's just so easy to get up to 100, or 110.
The freeway I take every day has a few straight spots, with no room for cops to hide, so I do that kind of often.
The tires are only rated to 130, so they govern the car at 128. I wonder what it could do without the governor.
This looks like fun...

During World War II, the United States created a bomb that carried hundreds of bats. Each bat carried a small incendiary charge, and they would be released from the bomb in mid air to fly into different buildings in the area before detonation.

Kamikaze Bats were the shit.
Does anyone watch Archer?
