Everybody, everywhere I go, cares about it. On the internet anyway. With the exception of DBN. Its almost a NBA free zone.

You guys are kidding, right? I get it if you don't like basketball but to say nobody cares about it is sort of asinine. The real sport that nody cares about is hockey. Heard the NHL finals are drawing about as many fans as a normal mid-season NFL game draws in. Thats pathetic.

I love college basketball. Hate nba basketball though. I don't know why. I just do.

No body in SW Kansas likes basketball or hockey. They save that energy for highschool football. :?

The "national TV rating" argument is kinda dumb.
Hockey is up there with the other sports in everything else. Attendance, local ratings, merchandising.
It's a regional game.

People pay more to see hockey, a lot more.
