I saw Bad Company in concert with Damn Yankees in 1990. I was just a youngin.

Quite honestly, I really like the cover and the original. I love FFDP... And I thought they did a great job. The original is always better, but this cover is fucking great, too.

I think only Marilyn Manson has ever done covers of songs where his version was much better than the originals... That is my opinion anyway. I can't think of too many others that are close. ... Maybe Metallica's covers from Garage, Inc.

I really like covers. But only when a band does it in their own style and doesn't try to do the same song.
I love The Bouncing Soul's Man in Black.
And related to that, Johnny Cash's Hurt.
The Cardigan's Iron Man (If you know that one, you're cool)
The Van Halen covers from the Dave years.
Metalica's Stone Cold Crazy and everything else from Garage Inc except for Turn the Page

Takes me a few times to get used to a cover. I'm so used to the origional it sounds weird to hear a different version.
I think bob segar's "turn the page" is better than metalica's.
I like shinedown simple man. I like aron lewis doing "in your eyes" and "black"

Me First and the Gimme Gimmes are an awesome cover band.

I know out of my MP3 stash, I have a lot Black Sabbath covers. A lot of bands have covered them like Metallica, Megadeth. Anthrax, Sepultura, Godsmack, Typo Negative, System Of A Down, and the list goes on and on.
They have to be the most covered band at least in the metal world.
